This is a great beach that starts at Seahouses and ends at Bamburgh. There are 3 miles of long walk but worthy. At the end of the walk coming from Seahouses you will reach Bamburgh Castle. I did not have the time to check the...More

Love this beach in all weathers. Fantastic views of the castle and church - and also the Farne Islands and Longstone Lighthouse to the other side. Dogs allowed on beach. The Arriva X18 bus stops just down the road.

Instantly recognisable with the outline of the castle, this is one of England’s most beautiful beaches. Seemingly endless views, soft, talc like sand and the over sized rubic cubes, where better to have a walk?

Yes you can take your dog on this beach anytime of the year. Northumberland appears to be a very dog friendly county. We were there in June and along with many others we walked our two dogs every morning. Dogs loved it.
