Nearly missed it, on the corner with the main road. Huge selection of books. High prices but range is massive. People obviously settled in for the long hall to read a book or the paper. There is a cafe on site as well.

This is a rather large book store close to Alnwick Castle. They carry a wide variety of books in a really cute location.

This stunning former railway station houses the biggest selection of second hand books I have ever seen, from recent bestsellers through to rare first editions. Visiting with my partner, we wandered through, browsing the books (and buying books too!) and then visited the shop cafe....More

I am so glad our curiosity took us here because as soon as I stepped in, it became one of my favourite places in the world! An old traditional train station crammed with second hand books, with numerous cosy fires and reading areas, a kids...More

I spent far too long in this bookshop and bought far too many books and it was wonderful. The atmosphere was perfect, all warm and cosy with lovely books everywhere and trains going round near the ceiling. Very quirky with a cafe which I never...More

Think there was, may be limited though. We parked in the street at the side - mother has a walker & managed fine.
