A fascinating look into the Lord's house. Antiques and random items from all over the world. The ghost stories are all fascinating and the tea room is utterly delightful ☺😍

Chillingham Castle; the most haunted location in the UK. With such a reputation, it was only natural that I make a visit to one of Northumberland’s famous sites. I’ve visited this place once before many years ago as a teenager, and now many years later,...More

Quirky is definitely the word. This place is filled with items that would be the centrepiece of an exhibition if they were in a museum. However, here they're are placed in a delightful muddle in this beautiful and charming building. It's a treasure trove of...More

Very quirky house, a little different from the norm. We loved every minute, great gardens and obviously well loved and lived in. Much more lived in than your usual country house and all the better for it.

Seen the negative comments regarding Chillingham Castle and it seems some people don't get the place. If you like the typical sanitised National Trust/English Heritage sites then this will be a bit of a culture shock for you but enter with an open mind and...More
