Go early in the morning or late evening. If not you will be stuck in traffic getting in and out. Plenty of parking and great variety of shops and restaurants.

After reading some of the reviews we were undecided about a visit while passing by heading north. When we saw the centre from the A45 road we decided to turn around and head back to investigate. A nice shopping centre, although the car park did...More

Went today 2/11 for a wander as staying nearby and all the locals said don't bother going to Kettering town as nothing there. Easy to find. No problems parking and no queues as expected this near to Xmas. Large, clean. Plenty of interesting shops with...More

Rushden lakes has some great shops. The choice of restraints is poor. None are amazing. Parking spaces are really narrow, so if your car is shiny new it is likely to get knocked. Walking around the lakes is great and free parking for 5 hours...More

We visited when this was first opened and were put off by heavy traffic and few shops open. We visited this time on a Saturday and the car park (free) was rammed, but they did have people organising the traffic to an extent. Wasn't impressed...More

Yes, I think there is a place to hire them just past the bus stop. Maybe the visitor centre can advise if you ring them. Bev

You could park in one of the free council car parks in Rushden town center and then walk down the High Street to ASDA then along the Greenway which comes out on Crown Park. Just a short walk over to Rushden Lakes then.
