We are so lucky to have this place! We visit the park 3/4 times a month, it's great for the young ones to run around and burn off their energy. Love the meerkats and the animals. My daughter loves the train ride to. Play areas are great, my only thought would be is sometimes I feel the security staff could... More

Had a great two days here. Stayed in the campsite for the night. Really good facilities. First day spent on the FREE rides and walking round the lake. The kids slept like logs that night. Next day I bought wristbands that allowed them on the bigger rides. I had trouble getting them off to eat. Overall they had another long... More

Well maintained grounds with plenty of space for BBQs. Some things are a little dated like the men's loos which had 4 cubicles of which only one lock worked so more privacy in the bushes outside (don't forget to take the toilet roll), a trough urinal which could accommodate as many as 10 peeing chaps all at the same time,... Wicksteed park has lots of things to do. The playground offers lots for a wide range of ages. A lot of rides were fenced off so guess they are due for improvement. The wristbands and tickets are expensive so try to look out for offers. The staff at the park are really helpful and you get plenty of time on... More

Really good. The park is free to get into, but you need to pay if you want to park there. The ride costs are reasonable value, but there are lots of free traditional play areas and equipment. Also the gardens are huge and ideal for running around and wearing out energetic children! This can be a very cheap option for... More

This is a superb place. Big wide open spaces, lots of rides and all very well priced. Staff are friendly and helpful. The place is clean well set out and just so much fun. Not just a great day out as you will want to come more than once.

I was looking for somewhere local 'ish' to take my grandchildren during the Easter break. They are 13 and 11 years old and the last time they went to Wicksteed they were much much younger. I opted to buy a sheet of 20 tickets to share between children. They loved it. The loved the park, they loved the rides, they... More

I walked to Wicksteed with my young nieces and nephews and it was a nice morning although we didn't go on any of the rides or anything. We visit here quite often and the kids always want to go on things but I find the prices a bit steep for the quality of rides that are there. Some new enclosures... More

Went there today and several of the rides are closed down, buildings burnt down, very disappointing. Only the good old train is still running without failure. Thought they could have got everything up and running for Easter.
