Highly recommend...especially if you can catch one of their special events. The management, staff, and volunteers work very hard to make this a quality nature preserve with great programs and gift shop.

Walking trails are clear and easy to follow. Prairie flowers in season and nice woods areas. Nature center provides interesting facts about the area.

Took some international guest here to see the local natural environmental and historical aspects of our area. No one offered any explanation of what was to be seen at the preserve or how and where the trails went.More

The Shawnee Prairie has some really nice trails you can walk. they also have a building you can tour. Really liked the walking paths.

Great trails for roaming, plenty of area to explore. A great way for families to get in touch with nature. Also has a cute gift shop with many local products.

no charge. This is a free event. Bears Mill is also having a lighted event and there is carriage rides (free) in downtown.
