This is well placed in the main street of the historic small town of Alford. whilst looking at houses . we had time for lunch at this Manor House, The Ploughman's Lunch was excellent with wholemeal bread. Well presented & reasonably quick. It has a small museum at the back near to the free carpark

We dropped into the Manor House, whilst it was hosting the Craft Fair. There were loads of different stalls offering local food produce and also crafts, including wood turning. It was all a very British affair and would certainly recommend going to and engrossing yourself in a afternoon tea.
