Had lunch there today with my sister and mum, not a massive choice but the food was very good and reasonably priced, and the service was friendly and efficient. I've only given it 4 stars as it was cold in the place but to be fair it was freezing outside.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. It was nice to show my daughter around a traditional working windmill and from what she saw, she rather enjoyed it. I just think it's needs to come with a warning if you don't have a head for heights. It was also nice to have a shop next door where you could... More

Fantastic place. The windmill is excellent. You can climb all the way to the top. If you're lucky like we were a nice gentleman will take you outside on the balcony while the sails go round. Great value for money. Gift shop with plenty of choice. Excellent tea room. Recommend a visit.

Come across the windmill by accident whilst driving in the area and decidied to have a look. A small entrance fee to explore the many floors of the windmill which my eldest loved. The grounds are small but well kept and we decided to have lunch in the tea rooms which was equally as good. Hidden gem and well worth... More

Stopped to have a bite to eat and a drink. Lovely fresh bread for sandwiches and the bread pudding with cranberry was to die for. All reasonably priced and good service.

Stopped off for a pot of tea and a sandwich. It was okay, quality was okay and staff were, okay. There you go, it was all, okay. Nice little spot though.

Birthday tea, with granddaughter in tow. Nice selection of sandwiches and cakes. Cream tea although pleasant not clotted cream and strangely the cream almost melted on warm scone . Nice little shop on site with the flour and other local products.

2nd visit as loved the cafe the first time, this time arrived to find only scones and cakes available , very disappointing. Shop was poorly stocked compared to previous visit and as with last visit nobody there to serve you. Shame as we really liked it the first time. Windmill itself is very impressive, could be such a lovely attraction.

I'm sorry you were disappointed with your visit. Unfortunately we are a very small business and I had been unwell. I have to share my time between milling flour when the wind allows, packing stock, ordering, admin, working in the kitchen, making soup and bakes, organising staff, trying to show as many visitors around as I can and dealing with... Took the family here prior to climbing the windmill. We had a variety of cakes, coffees, soft drinks and ice cream. This placed offered a good range and my lemon cake was moist and tasty. Coffee was also good. The chap serving was polite enough but lacked charisma. Maybe he was not having a good day? But he certainly didn't... More
