Always a dam good walk if you are fit enough. The views are brilliant. You can even climb the stairs in the tower and look out from the top. Great to take the kids.

A great place to walk to with great views. Stands high above the West Pennine Moors. A circular iron staircase takes you to the viewing platform. From here you have fantastic panoramic views of distant hills and the coast.

Hi. If you want a drink. It's not for you. Take 1 or 2 with you. Plenty of parking before the walk.

You have to walk up to the Tower. The nearest car park is at the top of Sunnyhurst Woods. Just past the Sunnyhurst pub on the right. It takes about 30 minutes to walk up from there.

It is possible but really until the child can walk it isn't advisable. I believe that an off the road vehicle can get special permission to go all the way up.
