I am lucky to live close to Clitheroe and this is my town . Lots of independents , lots of tea and coffee shops , a good market , easy parking and a castle !

A complete surprise, must return. Wine shop unforgettable. Castle and museum well worth a visit. Do go to the Tourist Information and see the gifts for sale - very special.

Yes there is I have been to the Dil Raj on the street below the castle it’s really nice and reasonable.
