A good selection of beers and ciders too be enjoyed while surrounded by some very eclectic wall decor. This is a good example of a micro pub and landlord evidently loves his job and was happy to chat. If you're in Whitstable and you fancy...More

One of our favourite watering holes. Great staff, great guest ales and a good selection of ciders. A must.

Cheeky little number on the high street that could quite easily be overlooked. We each had a different cask ale, both of which were amazing. Quirky decor and ambient music make it a delightful experience and definitely worth a visit.

We ran in here to get out of the rain, and loved the place! The decor is great and i want the photo of the Maori dressed in a bowler hat and suit. You could spend a day in there just looking at the decor...More

You could easily miss this little high street bar, so keep an eye out if you're a visitor to Whitstable. I's worth a visit just for the quirky décor; even better if you're a fan of real ale in a friendly atmosphere.

If you like real ales then fine, but I suggest you put a couple of quid in the wood for tasting (25p/taster - a good idea!), otherwise you can end up with an expensive pint that tastes like burnt chocolate or worse. This is particularly...More

No free wifi that I know of. Like most micropubs the emphasis is on conversation and many ban use of phones. I've seen customers using messaging and laptops but suspect they are using phone data or a dongle.
