We had 2 gorgeous roast beef dinners and 1 roast pork dinner which were beautifully cooked. My partner said it was the best roast pork he'd eaten in a long time! The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The pub felt...More

Booked into to have the Sunday roast with a group of friends. All staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Thoroughly recommend!

Really nice cute little pub, the staff were really friendly, went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Nice food for a good price. 9 of us had roast dinner and the service was great. Would definitely come again!

Our “go to” pub in Whitstable. Great staff who can’t do enough for you - way above the call of duty! Excellent bands also.

We had a lovely drink in the beer garden. A nice escape from the busy beach on a sunny bank holiday only reason it gets four instead of five is because my partner didn't like the men's loo because there was no toilet seat.

I like the look of the pub and the garden but the gin selection is woeful with just Gordon’s. It was £6 too. This is typical of Sheps pubs. 12 taps offers a wide selection and for the same price. It would be nice to...More

Friendly pub, with a decent selection of beers and wine, which really feels like it’s packed with locals. Great open mic nights and a real fresh air find amongst all the bad value tourist traps in other areas of Whitstable. A rare find, highly recommended
