This beach is nice and relaxing and can be quiet even in summer on a standard school day - perfect for parents with a day off to sit chill and enjoy the view of the sea :-)

It’s a lovely pebble beach, clean and wonderful views. We really enjoy long summer days and evenings, the sea is shallow even at high tide. Great sunsets to the west. Love Tankerton

There’s parking along the road which is free and along other side roads, some side roads may have restrictions. Otherwise there is a car park at the Whitstable end which is £1.80 an hour.
