A reasonable selection of food but it seems that on busy saturday afternoons, the kitchen is very stretched. More than one hour from order to the table...and that was for dressed crab and salad.

Go here fairly regularly as we have family in Faversham. The food is always lovley and fresh. Very well priced. You always get to stroke a Dog aswel which is always a bonus.

We followed a man from the docks carrying a large live lobster in a bucket which he took into the Old Neptune. That suggested to me that the Old Neptune might be a good place for lunch. It was crowded with locals but we found...More

The Old Neptune is a fairly stylish traditional pub on the modest Whitstable seafront that you can spot from about a mile away. When visiting Whitstable (which shouldn't occupy you for more than 2 hours), you should definitely drop by to have a pint or...More
