We had been to the Old Neptune on several occasions and is one place we will always keep going back to. We went there on Sunday afternoon and it was packed, as always. Lots of locals and visitors were there and some were eating. We managed to get a little table at the back of the pub and sat with... More

As per the title, this is the perfect spot for a seaside pint in the sun. The food is good, but stick to the traditional pub food rather than expecting Michelin star quality from the more expansive menus on the item. Would happily return to drink in the sun. Big shout to Tony who makes the venue

The Old Neptune is a really lovely pub and in a great location. We have visited it many times now and hope that the service would get better. The women who serve behind the bar could smile and make you feel welcome. I guess they know the pub will attract lots of people, which it does, so they don't have... More

Called in for a drink after a walk along the shore in 30 degrees of sunshine. I'm not a lager fan, but the weather was too hot for IPA and so I had a Whitstable Bay Blonde Lager - perfect for the day. This is a great little pub right on the beach and full of friendly atmosphere. We didn't... More

A great pub directly on the beach at Whitstable. Hi lights include the beach BBQ, great burgers, skewers and salads. Also loved the old juke box, beer selection and the entire service team very friendly and good fun. Will definitely return, the sunset was overwhelming.

What an excellent location. A small pub with a large seating area outside that looks out over the beach. Great drinks, excellent food, brilliant customer service! What can I say! Thanks, see you next time we're in Whitstable.

Superb boozer at the end of an afternoon stroll from Herne Bay. Well kept beer. We didn't eat but there were plenty of diners. There is also a beach side bar and plenty of out door tables
