No visit to Whitstable would be complete without calling into the Horsebridge. It's close to the sea front and in the centre of town. The galleries have changing exhibitions of local high quality art and craft, there's a cafe and loos. The centre is free to visit.

Shows work from local artists in a ground floor gallery, along with a small shop selling gift products. The upstairs café is very pleasant with outside balcony seating giving a view over part of the town. Nice place to stop for a while.

Always seems to be an exhibition on here - I have exhibited myself in the past. Light and airy, with a decent cafe upstairs.

We sat outside on the balcony watching the world go by drinking from a lovely made pot of tea. Friendly staff in a very clean cafe served us. This is a great place... More
