Peaceful spot

Pretty gardens and small folly. Castle closed when we visited but obviously a nice place for tea and cakes on a sunny day. Worth a visit

On our walk back to Whitstable from Tankerton we stopped to look around the Castle and gardens, which were lovely, and thought we would have a snack lunch in the tea rooms as it around 1pm. My wife and I chose a filled jacket potato each plus a pot of tea. The jacket potato when it arrived was OK but... More

Took my grandchildren to the park within the castle grounds on Sunday and they had a lovely time, especially on the slide. It was busy but lovely to see so many children and their parents/guardians interacting with one another, made such a change, not a mobile phone in sight!

Had a nice walk round & lunch was great. They had a small fair going on. I got some magic tricks from stall which I'm trying out on grandkids.

This is my first review and I would like to praise the staff for the excellent customer service given. On Wednesday myself and my husband visited the castle. We have been many times so I knew exactly what I wanted to order. We ordered tea for two and my husband had the lemon tart. I was disappointed that the coffee... More

Love coming to whitstable and visiting the castle. The gardens are well maintained and lovely to sit outside when the weather is good. I had afternoon tea here and was very impressed and nice surroundings added to it. We also had a tour around the castle by a lovely volunteer who was very passionate about the castle
