Wanted an afternoon stroll and this park ticks all the right boxes. Highly recommended. Toilets and snack bar on site. The snack bar takes card payment which is a major plus. Well worth a visit

A lovely walk round Barden Lake today. After all the recent miserable weather it was great to walk without a coat and to catch some welcome sunshine. As an added bonus we got to see (Egyptian?) goslings.

Haysden is a well used park set around a lake just outside Tonbridge. There is a Café and an adventure playground for children. Lake has large populations of wildfowl.

Used to go fishing here as a child it’s changed quite a bit since then. Lovely to walk round lovely little cafe with good food. Children can buy seed to feed the ducks here. Lovely for a Sunday afternoon walk
