We visited The Admiral Owen while staying in Sandwich. It was our first visit to an authentic, historic British pub and was exactly how we perceived them to be. One of the owners, Heather, was amazing! We were there almost every evening of our stay....More

Went in for an evening drink mid week. Love this old pub. It's cosy, friendly barman, good drinks. The atmosphere in there is relaxing. An eclectic assortment of old furniture and decor. One of the best pubs in Sandwich.

Lovely real old pub. Served local beers which they said they changed daily. Knowledgeable bar man. Was impressed that it was child friendly as well.

Having walked from Ramsgate to Sandwich and then explored, we were somewhat footsore, weary and in need of a friendly pint. We stumbled across this establishment and were very pleased to do so. The barman was most friendly and served up icy cold beverages in...More
