Hired a rowing boat for 2 adults and 3 young kids for an hour. Had a great time rowing up and down the canal, with the kids able to have a go and get the hang of it. Bit confused by some of the reviews...More

Was going to go for a row on the very tranquil canal, until we met the thoroughly despicable highly unlikeable guy running the business. Would rather set my money on fire than hand it to that arrogant self opinionated and very rude old man.

We rode on the small electric boat (has some shade) fot an hour. The canal is beautiful - full of lilies and wildlife. The canal is regularly cleared of weeds. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Very reasonably priced.

Very angry, disinterested people. Do not chance ruining your family day out. Unprofessional and exceptionally rude. I would give no stars if I could!!!!

Great place to spend a while on the Royal Military Canal. Not too busy and if it is a bit quiet, they don't mind if you are a 'little' late back.

Great time rowing up the canal, swans, ducks and the odd seagull. Not very deep if you were to fall out, it would come up to an adults waist. Good value old fashioned fun.
