The Pier is a right let down what's all that stuff on there load of tat....old pier altho run down at least looked like a pier now it's a make shift market place....something Herne bay didn't really need...........council could of used some money to refurbish...More

Herne Bay pier is a real traditional pier. It's been worked on an updated to make it feel like it's 1960 - it's brilliant. It's modern retro.lots of small boutique type traders and a fabulous traditional fairground. For Christmas it's got reindeer.

Was really looking forward to a morning spent browsing the stalls at the Xmas market. What a disappointment. The pier was empty with hardly any stalls and did not have a Christmas feel to it at all. Was a real let downMore

The area around has been invested in and refurbished. Pleasant little beach hut type outlets on the pier selling cooked food and craft items.More

The helper skelter was £2 .00 for 3 slides. didn't use the carousel sorry, but assuming it would be a similar price.
