It is just so nice to see a real live pier still standing in these modern times! Season not started yet so pretty quiet but I'm sure in the summer months this is just excellent to wander along and take in the proper seaside

Just a quick trip to Herne Bay and a must is to go to the pier, the Village on the pier is lovely, some great little huts with gorgeous bits. Food huts too, and you get the fab view for free to boot! Why not get a crabbing line and a bucket with the kids another fab thing. yeah can... More

Even on a nice day this is a sad place to be. The short pier features mostly closed sheds selling tat and tawdry trinkets. The food offerings looked sad and greasy with just the smell of the grease. The "attractions" weren't that attractive, a 2 loop helter-skelter, bouncy thing with children dangling (not bouncing) from its rubber straps. My advice... More

Sorry to hear you don't like us, strange though you probably wondered what the metal work in the middle of the pier was for .. it is for the Carousel that is being built up this week and opens on the weekend and you missed the boating pool and the bouncie castle, the bouncie thing is a cross between a... Not much to it, a few stalls and a bouncy castle. Spent 10minutes on there and then left. It's ok but nothing exciting.

Hi please come back in our season, over the winter the pier is almost closed, we manage to keep a Skelton service on there to make sure we have security for the pier. In March we have the helter skelter returning the Carousel the boating pool as well and we will be retaining our new bungi trampolines. We were hit... More

Thank you Kieth. The weather really helped, when it shines we are there. We are looking forward to a really good summer with lots of favourite rides returning Carousel, Helter Skelter along with some new rides. Ice cream is now being offered with strawberry whipp as well as vanilla or vanilla and strawberry twirl for this season More

Wonderful afternoon on the pier stroking real reindeer, chatting to Father Christmas, pressie shopping, playing in the artificial snow and singing along to carols - all for free (apart from present buying!). What a wonderful place to visit. Highly recommended.

Tricky time of the year for a pier sticking out to sea, so we are so pleased you enjoyed yourselves and look forward to seeing you again. Father Christmas makes one more visit on Christmas Eve, sadly the reindeer are resting getting ready for their big night ! So they won't be there with Father Christmas. More
