My boyfriend had his dog with him so we went here for a few drinks. The beer garden was fully off dogs (definitely not my scene). However the friendly staff made it for it. Couldn't fault the service one bit. The pub is also in...More

We went there on a Sunday evening & they had a band playing. We had the local Shepard & Neame larger which was quite distinguished. The band was very good but very loud & I had to retire to the garden.

Great pub, full of locals and their dogs. There is a large garden behind if you have kids you want to let off the lead.

Had a very enjoyable evening at this pub on a very damp dismal night. The waitress was charming and helpful, the food and wine excellent and well priced.

Visited this pub in the early evening having walked to Whitstable and then caught the train back. Great selection of beers and very friendly and welcoming staff and locals. We didn't eat there as we were heading back to London but will definitely revisit soon.

Although recent refurbishment has slightly altered the authentic feel of the Anchor it is still one of the best reasons for visiting Faversham. Live music sometimes, lovely garden space but haven't tried the food.

The threat of good reviews must be getting up someones nose!! Where have all the fine and positive ones gone? They have been mysteriously removed. This recently refurbished Pub/restaurant has put to shame some of the other establishments in Faversham. With their good food and...More
