My friends live local and I’ve been in the Market several times with them, most recently for the quiz night on Saturday. The quizmaster Heath was genuinely hilarious, sometimes unintentionally, and there was a great atmosphere. Quiz itself isn’t too hard and there isn’t a...More

Wandered in to avoid a traffic jam and found an oasis. Good beer selection, well kept, sensibly priced. Alison very helpful. Very flexible pub: if they're not doing food you can bring in local Chinese, a relatively novel innovation. Very clean and well-managed.

Visited for the first time one hot Sunday afternoon. There was live music from a local band, a warm welcome from attentive hosts, friendly smiles and interest from the regulars. Beers were all in very good condition. Look forward to a return visit soon!
