This little gem is well worth a visit, packed with interest but don't try to take it all in in one go. Luckily your ticket, if you keep it safe, will allow you access for a year to go back and look at something else.

I visited here with friends. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to do more than rush through albeit with one of the volunteers guiding us. This is a nice museum combining the history of the town with the wider world.

This is one of the best small local museums that we have visited. It is well laid out and very informative. Friendly staff who very very helpful. A really good place to visit.

This is a really unusual museum of Faversham life, and is much bigger than it seems from the outside. There are a number of different rooms, some set up as shops etc and covering, between them an enormous range of historical periods. There are really interesting videos and 'hands-on' artefacts, including an old gramophone, complete with records. There is a... More

It's a tardis! So much information in there, looks tiny from the outside! Lots of interactive things to look at and what really made it was the lovely people who work there and the interesting information the guide added. Thank you!

My husband and I have just spent over two hours in the museum. It contains lots of interesting artefacts, from Henry 8th, WWII, Faversham history etc., Upstairs is really fascinating. Lots for children to do. Very glad we went. Staff are very obliging too. A lot and time and trouble has been put into this museum.

This is an excellent museum - well displayed, lots of interactives for children, and many fine objects. The upstairs rooms are an absolute treat with room sets and a lovely row of shops with so much to see. Sadly on both my visits there have been very few visitors which is a shame, as it really deserves to be seen.... More
