Brogdale Collections was established as a charity to work with the curator chosen by DEFRA. Brogdale Collections has managed visitor access to the NFC in partnership with the University of Reading, since the start of their curation in 2008. The Charity offers a range of opportunities for the public to use the collections as an educational resource including Daily Guided Tours (April - November), Fruit Days, Festivals and Key Stage 1 & 2 Education Days.

Good weather for the fair,very poor attractions,very high cost of entrance ticket for seniors £7 ,and even higher for younger people,all in all very disappointing and lacking!

Visited early one sunday morning expecting to see crowds waiting to see the blossom. I was the only one there and the ticket office didn't open until ten minutes late. there was a coffee shop open early though. One of the guides was very helpful...More

We went to the restaurant here at 9.00 as we had to leave our dog at Toachim vets for 2 hours we had breakfast and it was absolutely delicious, good value and not greasy, the service was prompt and we would highly recommend.

Visited for food and tour of the fruit collection. Lovely tour although £12 is a bit overpriced and the cafe closes at 4pm which in the summer months is too early. But apart from that a nice place to go for the afternoon.
