Having been to Deal Castle, our need was for a sit down and a warm drink. We came the short distance into town and parked the car. Having realised that looked to be a good pedestrianised main street we walked up and down, going into...More

Middle street is lovely, rows of quaint painted houses of all sizes and of different height and character. You cannot park along here as the street is not wide enough, but it would spoil it anyway. If you are thinking of living here, then parking...More

A definite must-see area of Deal. A complete gem set in the east coast of Kent. It gives a view of 17th century Deal. Well worth a visit.

A series of lanes just back from the seafront and well worth exploring. Sadly many are now weekend houses. Very good chip shop in Middle Street and couple of pubs to round off your visit.

Could spent hours walking around. The architecture, history and magnificent shabbiness is worth a look day and night.

There are many that range from traditional types eaten from the paper to posh sit down restaurants that cost a fortune. A good takeaway can be found in middle street somewhere
