Just popped in for a quick snack and a drink and was immediately surprised by the chilled, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of seating, a good food choice and plenty of drinks to choose from. Friendly staff and clean as well. Parking easy in Jockey...More

Old fashioned, poor decor, mediocre service, even the locals don't go here much. Haven't been tempted to eat here so can't comment but if appearances are anything to go by, I wouldn't bother to try.

They get annoyed at people going in on a Sunday evening as the barman thinks it's time for him to play pool with his friends

Stopped here for a quiet pint during a bike outing. The pub room itself isn't the most attractive place (it seemed too dark to me, and without that quaint "village pub" atmosphere of, say, the nearby pub at the "George Hotel". However, the beer garden...More

Nice pub but we arrived during a football match on the TV so the clientell were quite noisy. Nice pint though.
