This town centre church is very attractive, light and full of interesting historical features. Don’t miss the clock on the tower with its figure of Father Time with scythe. The roof bosses from the old chancel ceiling were fixed to the wall when the victorians...More

This is a lovely church in the Kentish town of Cranbrook. The town itself is attractive and rural, and the church is tucked away behind the High Street. Inside, this is a classic English church, with an active bell tower, a nice organ, stained glass...More

I went in a Saturday morning as it was being cleaned. The church has a lot of history and the graveyard well documented. Thank you for all your assistants as I search for ancestors.

The church is close to the heart of the town, yet could easily be missed. That would be a pity. It has numerous really interesting memorials, preserved Green Man carvings - and an organ where on the day of our visit it was being played...More

This is a fairly large church which is very photogenic. In side it has a large and airy feel to it. There are lots of features to see and there are also boards strategically placed giving information. This church is well worth a visit.

Built on the back of the wool trade the church has some pagan roots with the wooden Green Man plaques inside and a stone Green man in the porch. Above the porch, a room used as a jail used to hold Protestants prior to them...More
