Lovely day for the boat trip. We were disappointed not to be able to go out in the rib. They weren’t running today. However, the trip was enjoyable with friendly young men manning the boat, a commentary and close up look at The Needles.

Lovely trip. Informative guide (although the tone of voice did remind us somewhat of the Stumphole Cavern guide, which we found quite funny). Great value at £6 per adult .. got some nice photos and as a bonus we encountered a dolphin on the way...More

We took the fast yellow boat, what an experience we had bouncing along on the water, of course if this is not for you then take the slower standard cruise boat. The only way to get up close to the needles, just check the weather...More

Had a pleasing boat ride out to the needles and back. Took around 20 minutes had some commentary but not over the top. Price was about what would expect to pay.

It was £5.50 for adults and £3.50 for children. Not sure if there are seasonal price changes but that's what we paid. That is for the leisurely trip.

The boats run from the beach at Alum Bay adjacent to the Needles Park Chair Lift. There are also stairs to the beach that run down from the same area. Car parking is available within the Needles Park.
