If doors are open come in to see a marvellous church, walk around between the graveyard to discover Holy Cross Church's construction. Every now and then you can see people working around the church, thank to the Parish volunteers who keep this sacred place pretty.
A very impressive and welcoming place of worship. It offers you the opportunity to just sit and pray or have a time of reflection. You can explore the history, walk in the grounds or sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Our son had his wedding here in July and the church is beautiful and so peaceful. The organ sounded wonderful and the lady vicar there was an absolute joy. This is a small but very pretty church with lots of history.
This is amazing - there is a pagan idol called a sheela na gig which is called "The Saxon Idol" of which there are less than a dozen in the country. It is over a blocked off arch & is more likely to be Jutish...More
