I have left a 1* rating merely to draw peoples attention. The Devil's Chimney is an interesting geological feature which has been augmented by the addition of steps within it's narrow walls and is worthy of a brief visit. However, WANDERERS BEWARE - at the...More

We took a walk through the Bonchurch Landslip after reading about walks on the island, and specifically to visit the ‘Devils Chimney’. We had already climbed up to St Catherines Down that morning and now we planned to get to sea level on the coast....More

We parked up to this hidden area. Walking through to the views which are well worth it. There is a stone covered seat. It is ideal to see the views. Ideal for dog walkers

Lovely walk but be aware of steep steps and uneven path but the scenery is spectacular! Well worth a visit.

Lovely walk through the woods high up on the cliffs with great sea views through the trees. Relax in the Cafe with a wide selection of great homemade sandwiches and cakes.

This open space has been our family favourite for many years- three generations of both humans and dogs have enjoyed the area. The Landslip may be accessed from Bonchurch Shute , Smugglers Haven cafe garden or Luccombe village. This is a magical area of trees,...More
