Nice canal side pub/restaurant near a swing bridge, something to watch. Good selection of food, well presented and fairly fast. Selection of ales, but also coffee and tea for the canal side break.

I have been coming to this pub with visitors for over 30 years, it's such a beautiful and peaceful setting. We have noticed a change over the years and we personally wouldn't do Sunday lunchtimes or late evenings....it gets to cramped and busy...but lunch times,...More

Had lunch here the other day and it was lovely, staff were friendly, the only criticism I have is that I think the food was over priced compared to other pubs and they did not have everything available from the menu

Delightful surroundings & very friendly staff. Even the manager/owner spent time chatting to us. We felt quite special. Great rose wine too although I've forgotten the name.

Prices are a little high, but it is worth it for the atmosphere. Beautiful little place. There is the main area to the left where you can dine or have a seat on the sofa, and to the right is a more traditional pub which...More

This pub is oh so old, full of character from the outside and candy to the eye. IN the summer it's really nice to sit outside on the terrace and watch the boats go bye the swing bridge. The food? Fine! Nothing special but easy....More

Happy to take your money and charge a lot but literally NO baby changing facilities - they service food and pride themselves on being a pub/restaurant but don't bother if you have small children in the group. Also if you need disabled facilities don't bother...More
