We visited these gardens as part of a group. They are part of the large Leckford estate owned by the John Lewis/Waitrose group and were extensively developed by John Spedding Lewis who left them for the benefit and enjoyment of his employees/partners. Everything is immaculately...More

Loverly place to stop if you can, owned by the John Lewis Partnership so not always open to the public.

Beautiul water garden on the Leckford estate with artificial lakes with islands which you wander around to enjoy the scenery, the plant and peacefulness. Limited opening times so check before making the trip.

Went with my daughters family, three young children, they loved it! The variety of fish in the gardens kept them interested during the visit. Highly recommended.

A lovely place to take a short break from the world. We had visited before in the late summer. Coming in early June has a pretty scene of late rhododendrons and irises with early summer flowers. Just nice to enjoy the sunny Sunday afternoon.
