A large pub in an attractive location near the Basingstoke Canal. The initial impression is of an old-established village location, but closer experience reveals that the operating fomat is very much that of a modern pub with a good range of facilities, pub grub and...More

A comfortable pub with a good atmosphere. The locals are friendly and the landlady and staff were very welcoming. Good parking available and bus stop almost outside of the door. I am pleased to say you get what it purports to be an unspoilt pub.
