The self-contained skittle alley and function room at the Eagle is a great imaginative (and cost-effective) location for a children's birthday party. Have you ever seen year six children play skittles for the first time? - a great antidote to today's always on connected culture...More

Pub is generally grubby. Food is poorly prepared and presented. Not welcoming unless you are one of the locals.

Nice to go into a country pub and have a decent glass of vino instead of the cheap rubbish other pubs serve always cheers the girlfriend up. The beer was kept very too. Will return.

Had a Sunday lunch for five, one of whom is a vegetarian, and the food was excellent. Both pork and chicken lunches went down a treat, and the vegetarian pie was delicious. All freshly cooked by the looks of things and piping hot. The bottle...More
