Open all year round, Finkley Down Farm has a massive indoor play barn with different areas for different age ranges. There's lots of outdoor play as well, with pedal go carts, mini ride on tractors, sandpit and trampolines. Throughout the day there are animal handling and feeding activities for children to get involved in. Reptiles and Birds Of Prey have now been added to a Farm-tastic family day out. Pony rides (extra charge) take place at weekends and in school holidays. Events are held during the year with the Easter Extravaganza, Superheroes Weekend, Teddy Bears Picnic, Summer Spectacular. Halloween Half Term and Magical Christmas. Watch out for appearances by children's TV characters such as Peppa Pig and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Excellent family day out with lots to do and see. The farm and animal stuff is good, if a little tired in places. However this plays second fiddle to the indoor soft play and the outdoor play equipment, which is really very good indeed, and really lifts it from your average farm park. Special mentions for the air cannon range... More

We went here during half term and found not a great deal to see,a few animals in run down sheds, no tracter rides, having to pay £8.95 for a 2 year old is a bit steep, until you get inside and find that basically adults have paid nearly £10 to sit and watch their children play in the 7/8 indoor... We've been visiting for 10 years now and every year they reinvest so much into the place it gets better and better. I can't recommend it enough. The new bird of prey area is so charming we can't wait to see the display shows coming soon. Also the handler/owner was so passionate and caring for his birds and was able... More

I am a full grown adult and my boyfriend and I came here without any children and had a great afternoon! I absolutely loved the piglets and baby goats! Unfortunately, the cafe is right next to the indoor play area so lunch was had next to hundreds of screaming kids which was a bit annoying. Food was perfectly nice, but... More

Has an open farm where you can see all the animals and have pony rides. The only down side is you you can pretty much only feed the goats. It has a big soft play area for all ages. Cafe with reasonable price but you can take your own picnics if you choose to. There is an open park with... More

Took my two grandchildren to the farm for a day out . They loved feeding the goats and sheep and cuddling the rabbits . There are also pigs donkeys llamas and alpacas which caused great amusement . The indoor play area was a great hit and if it had been a warmer day there is a large play area and... More

Booked to come here for our daughters 9th birthday party. I got there a little earlier so I could set the balloons up. At the front gate we were given a large bag of animal food and a load of party sticker to identify the group. I was met in the eating area by a lovely lady called megan who... More
