Interesting exhibits. Historical information on the computer screens. Interactive actitivities good for children. Old building is interesting which the monks used to use with various rooms to explore.

Nice place for a wander for an hour or so. It also has a cafe so you can grab a coffee. Suitable for both kids and adults.

Priory Park is a large urban park in Southend but it is a delight to find the residue of a 12th century Cluniac priory there. The building has been restored to a very high standard and the displays of the history and artefacts are excellent....More

It's a very good place to take your unruly spoilt kids if they are in the mood to damage 800 year old coffins. Remember to leave quickly before anyone discovers the damage. Shame on you!
