Had a good morning here. Two lame people. Walked all the way to the end. But had to get train back. Cafe a the end is very nice. But choice of food very disappointing. But nice place to sit with a hot beverage.

If you have young children the train is worth it! The kids loved it, it's a long walk but the giant chess and chequers are fun.

Thank you for your comments, I'm sorry you were disappointed with the price. The prices are taken into consideration every year so that we can continue with the up keep and maintenance of the Pier.

We visited the pier on a busy Saturday afternoon choosing to walk both ways. The bottom of the pier had some great little pop up shops selling fast food and drink. An enjoyable afternoon.

Yes it did burn down some years ago. It has now been restored and you can still go to the end of it although there isn't so much there as before. Didn't know about the Australian version - interesting!
