This is a great pub for those with young children that want a safe beer garden. The pub may be on a main road but the beer garden is totally fenced off with a gate to stop the little ones escaping. There is a slide,...More

Hi Cathy. Thank you for your review and yes we are proud of our garden. As new landlords we have many plans .. including an upgrade to the play area! We look forward to seeing you here again in the near future. 😁

This is mine and my friends go to place in Manningtree. Always friendly and welcoming. Singers they put on are great and there’s enough space to have a dance, or plenty of chairs and tables to sit and have a chat. Highly recommend.

Popped in for a quick pint as picking up camping supplies from local co-op (very good shop by the way!). We didn't plan to eat but were tempted by seeing what other customers were having and glad we did. Food very well priced. Good beer....More

As soon as you walk in you are assaulted with the smell of piss from the mens toilets. Basically the pub is a dive for builders and the like to nip in for a drink at lunch. Night isn't much better with the place still...More
