Better than now some towers - lots of artefacts and information inside. We stayed for about half an hour as children are very young. But older children may enjoy the extra facts so could stay an hour. Member of staff was welcoming and helpful.

It’s not often that you can visit a Martello tower and this little museum is a gem. It’s a really interesting place that’s worth a visit if you are in the area.

The people who run this are voluntary but they are very enthusiastic and will ell or discuss with you questions you may have. There is no time limit to your visit and you can sit and read a book if you so wish.
