With sweeping panoramas, big open skies and far reaching views this Essex garden is an inspiration to visitors of all ages. The garden boasts an eclectic range of inspirational horticultural styles from traditional to modern, providing interest and colour, whatever the weather or time of year. The Garden opens daily from 10am (closed Christmas Day) and includes a restaurant, children's play area, picnic areas and garden library. The Visitor Centre is open daily from 9.30am and includes a cafe, gift & book shop and plant centre. Entry to the Visitor Centre is free of charge. Please note that Sunday trading hours apply in the shop (11am - 5pm).

Roses in summer in many colours, vegetables, a dry garden, sculptures, space for children to run and picnic, adults to sit on benches and grass. An all year round garden.

Always a delight to visit at any time of year. Hyde Hall hosts many special themed events during the year, and it is always worth the visit.

Ok if you like plants but our Easter visit was over very quickly and children were not entertained enough

We love this place. So lucky to have Hyde Hall on our doorstep. We enjoy seeing the changing seasons and colours. Always well maintained and designed. Looking forward to the completion of the new centre. RHS membership very good value.

Daniel, the craft fair is free with normal garden admission, so that's £11.00 for adults and £5.50 for children.
