With sweeping panoramas, big open skies and far reaching views this Essex garden is an inspiration to visitors of all ages. The garden boasts an eclectic range of inspirational horticultural styles from traditional to modern, providing interest and colour, whatever the weather or time of year. The Garden opens daily from 10am (closed Christmas Day) and includes a restaurant, children's play area, picnic areas and garden library. The Visitor Centre is open daily from 9.30am and includes a cafe, gift & book shop and plant centre. Entry to the Visitor Centre is free of charge. Please note that Sunday trading hours apply in the shop (11am - 5pm).

We are members here and visit from time to time. Beautiful gardens with loads of Autumn colours at the moment. You should allow yourselves at least half a day to visit this place.

Visited with a friend for a walk, chat and lunch! As ever a relaxing place to take some exercise, watch the seasons change and take inspiration for own garden. Will always recommend this gem of a place.

such a shame, it is still worth a visit but no were nice as it used to be, all the character it had is being replaced but ugly buildings and the nicestt view had been ruined by a hideous green house

Daniel, the craft fair is free with normal garden admission, so that's £11.00 for adults and £5.50 for children.
