Traveled Newhaven to Dieppe on the 9am crossing. Checking quick and about 30 minute wait to board. Ferry departed right on time. Plenty of seats, reasonably priced restaurant and a fairly decent but small duty free shop. On arrival in Dieppe we were offloaded within...More

We used the overnight crossing from Newhaven - Dieppe. I was a little nervous as no-one seemed to have heard of this company when I booked it. However....clean and comfortable cabins, reasonably priced refreshments, efficient check in and out process and so much cheaper than...More

Long waits at newhaven and Dieppe. Must have the worse restaurant and duty free shop of any ferry. Travelled back, very weary on a Friday evening and were 'entertained' by the worse rock band I have ever heard! Very, very loud and useless. Why did...More

Boat is o.k. when not busy. Food and toilets are usually a bit grim but a fairly comfortable efficient way to get to France. However the trip is always ruined by the shambolic , slow, amateurish disembarkation at Newhaven, which adds at least an hour...More

Went this route rather than our usual Dover to Calais, all very easy and not overcrowded. The ship is a bit tighter to navigate when parking a motorhome but no problem, slept well in one of the cabins.

I decided to move my booking on the way back in from the Friday to the sat to cut my journey from the south of france in half and would have easily have paid the £35.00 to change it but when I phoned up to...More

If you have children make sure you book a cabin as the seats are not very easy to sleep on. It’s not 1st on 1st off it’s more like last on 1st off on this service.

A super offer for the more mature traveller wellworth 6minute the wait on the 'phone.Used DFDS before and will continue to do so, combining Dover - Dunkik outbound with Dieppe - Newhaven return was so easy and saved me £60 and a lot of miles.

Very convenient crossing, and the port staff are nice. However some caveats: the facilities are hopeless (dont arrive more than 30 min before departure!),you are repeatedly berated with irrelevant info on board which impresses on you how much more of a priority freight & foot...More

The staff are fairly friendly, check-in and ticket purchase are relatively simple and the crossing itself is fine. The ship is fairly clean with bar, cafe, shop and toilets. That's the good bits. Check-in is 90 mins prior to sailing, there is nothing at the...More

Hello, I can only speak for those with a car. You must return to your car when the ferry docks and be ready to drive off the ship almost immediately. Failure to do that will just hold back other drivers who might not be too... More
