Place with nostalgic look

Beatutifull and breath taking landscape. Woth to walk a little extra km while doing Winnie the Pooh Walk.

Great little reserve at the top of the Forest road. Wide variety of birdlife including cuckoo, ravens, redstarts, stone chats, wood larks, crossbills and nightjars. It gets a handful of rarities each year which are worth keeping an ear out for. There are also plenty of lizards, adders, dragonflies and boggy plants in the bottom section. Well worth a visit... A very picturesque area, great for hikers or just people out for an easy stroll just to look at the countryside and admire the lovely buildings

Set amidst the beautiful Ashdown Forest with heathland, woodland and boggy areas. A great variety of both fauna and flora at any time of year. My favourite time to visit is early summer. With its own car park. Well worth a visit.
