A real hidden gem. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained and are perfect for a stroll or for a quiet moment to relax. The remains of the old house have been cleverly kept with small room areas with low walls and even a fireplace...More

Went as the summer was beginning. Such a beautiful place to go. Lots of varieties of plants and flowers. Kids loved finding nooks to hide in.

Yes, on leads...there are dog bins , public loos and a free car park. also 2 tea shops 200m away in Old Town. Gardens are beautifully maintained and gradually being refurbed by a huge team of gardeners...well, one anyway.
