We had a very interesting one-half hour visit to the Southwold Lighthouse. It was fun to climb stairs for views from this historic building. There are quite a few stairs so we don't think it would suit the frail or disabled. Our guide, Tim, made...More

Informative, funny and interesting. Tim, our guide, made it a much enjoyable visit and we learnt more than I thought we would for a very reasonable - and value for money - £4 each. Great views. Worth a visit.

We visited the lighthouse and the guide made the history old and new of it very interesting. Fascinating to discover about the bulbs and the light patterns. Well worth a visit.

We are lighthouse fans and would have loved to see inside the light house. Unfortunately it was closed on the day of our visit. A number of tourists were also disappointed. It says that the openings are posted outside. There is a website and perhaps...More
