The car park and cafe are ideal for just sitting and doing nothing! My son is obsessed with the docks and container ships so loves it. While he gets excited , I watch the sea and daydream! Just the job!

At the viewing point you can observe some of the largest container ships in the world. Also see the coming and going of all the shipping that uses this Estuary, cafe there for drinks and eats.

The viewpoint is a favourite place of ours, to be so close to these giant ships is brilliant. It is a shame that the council is going to make it a pay and display car park.

We enjoy walking with dogs on remote beaches. They are hardly remote with a huge container port in the background but this made our walks here dramatically different. Watching the ships departing or arriving was intriguing.
