Unfortunately it was high tide when we were there so could not walk along the beach but it is a lovely long sandy beach which looks very safe & inviting for a sunny day.

An absolute favourite of ours. Traditional seaside town that is not ruined one bit. Perfect for a lovely stroll in the evening and watching the sunset.

The highlight of Sheringham, the beach runs for miles so there is plenty of space to relax and enjoy yourself. This beach is family friendly but bring warm clothes just in case of a strong coastal breeze. There are steps down to the beach but...More

To the best of my knowledge the dog restrictions apply until 30th September and then you can take Fido wherever you want to on the beach.

The best beach is 1.5 miles to a place called West Runton. Beach all the way to Cromer, goodsized car park £3 for the day and a cafe which also offers hot food. The are a few rock pools for the " little ones" to explore
