A 10.5-mile trip through beautiful parts of the region, hauled by a steam engine or heritage diesel locomotive. Steam trains run daily throughout the summer. All our trains offer stunning views of the Norfolk coast between Sheringham and Weybourne, Sheringham Park and Kelling Heath. We have a wide range of special events throughout the year to cater for the young and young at heart, see our website for our latest programme.

I read the reviews before visiting this attraction and although I gained some information, I was still left wondering where to park and whether to stay in Holt and what eating facilities exist. We caught the 10.30 steam train from Sheringham to Holt. Unfortunately, the...More

We went on the diesel train taking us from Sheringham to Holt. Bit of a walk from the station actually into Holt but it was worth it. I believe you can wait for a bus but we walked as the weather was good.

We used the NNR to travel between Weybourne Station and Sheringham, as a slightly different way of joining Sheringham Park and the seaside. It's a superbly maintained old railway and a brilliant experience even for nearly two-year-olds (though ours likes trains, which probably helps). Prices...More

A truly excellent day out. A beautifully presented railway, friendly staff and plenty of interest and variety for both parents and young sons (3yrs). We all had a great day out. The best heritage railway operation? Recommended!

The best day out ever. Naturally the engines and carriages are the star attraction, especially the unique Quad Art coaches. All Station buildings are lovingly restored but I think Weybourne in particular is so beautiful and the ladies loo is not to be missed!! All...More

My daughter and I had an enjoyable trip to Sheringham, spent a few hours there and then returned. This is the best way to do the trip as it is a long walk from Holt station to the town whereas Sheringham is easily accessible. It...More
