Although quite small this museum does contain a wealth of local history, including 2 old lifeboats, I especially liked the room containing information about the local windfarm. The observation room at the top of the building is novel. Well worth a visit

Sheringham must be so proud to have created a Museum of such outstanding quality. At the moment there is a superb collection of Dutch Ganseys ( Fishermens Jumpers) on show but the whole building is full of interesting exhibits. So beautifully 'un-stuffy' thus providing interest...More

Spent a couple of hours in the museum, although it is small it packs quite a lot in. Great views from the tower,

This is a great local museum. The exhibits were very interesting especially the wind turbine and lifeboat exhibits. We took our four-year-old daughter and she thoroughly enjoyed herself, they even had a little quiz for her to complete during her visit. Well worth a little...More

This s a little gem. Local history - fishing and lifeboats. An exhibition of Dutch Ganseys, and one about wind energy plus a climb to the observation tower all well worth the modest entrance fee.

Couldn't believe the size of this place! Loved the different patterns and info on jumpers hanging above the boats. Very informative, didn't make it to the viewing tower but as it was misty and torrential rain I doubt we would have seen much! Well worth...More

Lots of interesting items and information, including several lifeboats and fishing boats. Also some interesting items on Sheringham in the past. Very enjoyable.
