As mentioned in some other reviews we had walked past it without realising it had any historical importance , it’s in the centre of a busy thoroughfare and more people walk round it than look at it which is a shame

This small fragment of mosaic is on the beachfront promenade and is easy to see without having to make a special effort. It is outside shops and there are seats early.

If this antiquity was elsewhere it would be covered over and highlighted with information boards, etc. Instead it looks like an unfinished piece of public art and I literally walked past it!

WENT HERE FOR A DAY OUT , as my husband is very interested in anything that is roman, it is not very well sine posted, and we had to ask a few people how to get to it.
