Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Around 3 km from the town towards Teesta Bazaar.
A panoramic view of Teesta Rangeet Valley can be seen from here. Now the Dam which are being constructed can also be viewed.
I found it skip-able.

Its located around 3km from Kalimpong town. U can board the Algarah bound trekkers and get down at this place. U will get plenty of returning jeeps to Kalimpong till 4pm. Beyond that it becomes very infrequent. So if u r planning to experience sunset here, better u book a cab from Kalimpong. View from here is reasonably good on a clear day. But much better ones are available in and around Kalimpong. This can be one of ur sightseeing points.

The 7th Mile View Point offers a great view of the Teesta Rangeet valley. The day we had planned our visit was bright and sunny. We had packed a picnic hamper from the local bakery, hot and cold beverage and spent a beautiful day at this place with friends and family!!

There’s this beautiful view point where our driver took us at the end of all the sightseeings. Although it was foggy due to monsoon yet the view was simply marvellous.

This is no longer a viewpoint as the place has been dumped with construction materials and no one can reach the place. It is in terrible state and should not be visited.

nice hike from Mayfair but no view due to clouds! We walked a total of 5 or 6kms and got back to Mayfair in time for lunch. Quiet walk on mostly paved roads with little traffic, amazing.

7th Mile, ViewPoint is an important tourist attraction. It is located on the way to Teesta Bazar around 3 kms from Kalimpong. This place offers really some nice landscapes capturing live moments. This viewpoint is surrounded by tea plantations and green woods. This can be visited as a day trip from Kalimpong. The place offers magnificent views of the picturesque Teesta Rangeet Valley & attracts lots of tourists.
